Aloha everyone! I just started having issues with Microsoft word today. Whenever I open up a file, it tells me it's not registered and then JAWS wont' read it. I have to use word pad for it and it's annoying. It just started doing this today. If anyone can point me in the right direction to fix it, I'd be really appreciative.

If you have the key for Office and your program disc reinstall only word. I'd reinstall the complete thing and when you put in the disc say you want to repair not install.
I don't have it. It didn't come with the computer.
Here is a thought. Maybe it was installed as a demo. These last for 60 days and you can use them like you own them. Some are even longer depending, so if you don't have the program think about how you got it in the first place. That will tell you why its not working and maybe you need to buy a copy. If you are a student you can get the full Office for about $70. If you know someone that works for a large company ask them to check to see if that company offers discouted Microsoft programs. You'll be able to get it for about $20 in that case. If all that fails go shopping for it. Depending on what you want in the program the home and student versions are about 79 and up. Home business for about 160 and up and pro versions about 300 and up. How you got it will solve your issue. You will know and then you'll know what you need to do.
